And Emme makes four!

We welcomed Emme O'Grady into our lives at 6:31 a.m. on Friday, February 16th, 2007. She came into the world at blazing speed, with mom in labor for just barely 1 hour and at the hospital for little more than 30 minutes! She weighed in at 7 lbs. 3 oz. and was 19 1/4 inches long.

Two interesting points about her birth, she had a heart-shaped placenta, one of only two that the midwife had ever seen. She was also born "en caul" or with her membranes intact. This is supposedly a sign of good luck. So...with love and luck on her side, she is destined for great things!
